This is the second book in the Legions of Lilith series. The first book was fantastic. The second one exceeds all of my expectations and is a great continuation and expansion of the story and is somehow even better than the first book.

Legions of Lilith: Ghosts of the Past continues the adventures of Veronica Strange as she continues to learn more about her past and her expanding abilities and powers. The antagonist in this one is even bigger and badder than the first one and really ups the ante and pressure on Veronica.

Veronica teams up with old friends and learns more surprising secrets about her past than what was revealed in the first book. There is not a dull moment and the story never drags. The book feels perfectly paced and like the perfect length for the story. I am very excited for the next book to come out and can’t wait to find out what comes next.

This is a very fun story with supernatural and fantasy elements. It is about family and friendships and learning how to come to to terms with and live with your past. There are a lot of surprising twists and turns, but not so many that you lose track of the thread.

If you enjoy a good supernatural/fantasy story, I would highly recommend this book. If you read the first one and enjoyed it, definitely pick this one up—you will enjoy it even more than Legions of Lilith: The Awakening.
