Utopia Found: A Blueprint for Spiritual Renaissance and World Peace
Troy ReicherterPosted 11 May 2020 by the-librarian
Utopia Found is the culmination of 26 years of life experience and learning about philosophy, religion, and science by the author. It is a new age book about the world, human thought processes, our understanding of the universe, religion, and both western and eastern philosophies.
It is not a religion book, not a science book, and not strictly a philosophy book. It is difficult to pigeon hole this book into a single category as it stretches across a range of inter-related topics. If you are looking for something that contextualizes some of what is currently happening in the world and looking for a different perspective on life and how we interact as humans, this is an interesting and entertaining book.
It is not a rigorous academic volume but more of a discussion pulling from the author’s experiences and lessons learned over a long period of time. It is clear that the author has spent a lot of time thinking deeply about these issues and has found ways to apply this knowledge. This book is a way to take lessons that often take years to learn and begin to practice them now to help you become a better you.
This book was not necessarily my normal cup of tea but was interesting nonetheless. It is a very different and unusual lens from which to view the world and made me think in ways I haven’t thought before. For that alone, I thought it was a good book. Anything that gives me the opportunity to be introspective about life is a good book, whether or not you agree with 100% of what is being said.
I received a free, no-strings-attached, advanced reader’s copy of this book.
